Pre-Holiday Get Together

It’s the perfect way to start your One Traveller journey. You’ll join our host and some of your fellow travellers for dinner, drinks and an overnight stay at a hotel close to your departure airport. 

Your One Traveller host will greet you on arrival and you can relax before dinner. The ice will be truly broken with your fellow One Travellers over included welcome drinks and a three-course dinner, all hosted by your representative, who will be there to answer any questions about the holiday. 

The following morning breakfast is included as well as a private transfer to the airport or station where your host will assist with checking in. 

It’s a great start to your holiday and highly recommended for first time single travellers and anyone feeling at all apprehensive. Details of the hotel will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Luggage Delivery Service

At One Traveller we are always looking at ways to take the strain out of travelling so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your holiday. 

You can pre-book a luggage delivery service with One Traveller and have your luggage collected from your home and delivered to your hotel for the start of your holiday. This service is provided by ‘The Baggageman’. Please note that dependent upon the tour and departure date your luggage will be collected approximately 5 to 7 days prior to your holiday for UK departures and 5 to 10 days prior to your holiday for European tours. 

Our Luggage Delivery Service is most popular if you are taking a UK holiday and using public transport or joining one of our holidays by rail. We even have some guests that find it so convenient that they will book it to avoid having to check-in and carry their bags through airports. The following prices are on a one case return basis. £110 UK *prices may differ for Scotland and Ireland | £210 Europe.

Bed & Breakfast

Our Pre-Holiday Get-Togethers typically operate for holidays with a morning departure flight. On all other holidays, or if returning on a late flight, we can arrange bed and breakfast in a 4-star airport hotel.

Holidays By Train Pre-Holiday Get-Together

For our holidays that travel by Eurostar, we operate our Pre-Holiday Get- Together in central London hotels less than a mile from Euston and St Pancras International stations.

Every Pre-Holiday Get-Together includes:

TAHS LIMITED formally trading as LHR Drive are a Heathrow based family-run company with a fleet of over sixty vehicles and a dedicated team. We have used them on our airport transfers from our Pre-Holiday Get Togethers for many years and highly recommend them. High standards are delivered by fully security checked, uniformed and trained Chauffeurs who will ensure that you start and end your holiday relaxed and in comfort.  Service is delivered in Mercedes E or V Classes (or equivalent) presented in showroom condition and maintained to the highest standards. 

One Traveller customers will receive a specially negotiated 10% discount on all journeys.

Holiday Insurance

It is an essential condition of your booking that you take out adequate holiday insurance, covering at least circumstances leading to the cancellation of your booking. Medical and accident cover is also highly recommended when travelling abroad.

Your bank or credit card provider may already include holiday insurance as part of your package with them. Most online comparison sites offer holiday insurance quotes, too. Alternatively, One Traveller guests can call Staysure on 0800 652 8170 and take advantage of a 15% discount‡ using the code OT15.
