It is natural to be feeling a little cautious about current world events and the potential impact they could have on your upcoming travel plans. The One Traveller team keeps a close eye on official travel advice and local updates in the places we visit. If we become aware of anything that could affect your holiday, we will keep you informed and talk you through your options with care.
For those who prefer the human touch, our Concierge Team is always on hand to answer questions and offer reassurance. Why not give them a call today on 01760 722 011.
Are holidays still going ahead as planned?
Yes, although it is worth noting that official travel advice, airline schedules and routing can change at short notice. We keep a close eye on all our sources of information and listen to what our travel partners are telling us about their local circumstances. If anything crops up that has the potential to affect your holiday, we will contact you directly and talk you through the next steps.
Could current events affect my holiday even if I am not travelling near Iran?
In some cases, yes. Wider events can sometimes affect flight paths, schedules or transit routes, even when the destination itself is not in the affected region. That is why we monitor both your destination and the wider travel picture carefully, so you can book and travel with greater confidence.
What happens if official travel advice changes before I travel?
As a responsible tour operator, One Traveller would never operate a holiday against official UK government travel advice. If this means your holiday cannot proceed, you would of course be able to transfer to another holiday or receive a full refund.
Will you let me know if my booking is affected by local or international events?
Yes. If there is a meaningful change to your travel plans, we will contact you as soon as we can with clear guidance on what happens next. We know that timely, thoughtful communication matters, especially when guests are looking for reassurance.
What happens if my flight times or route change?
Airlines can occasionally amend flight times or routing, particularly during periods of wider disruption. If that happens, we will help you understand what has changed and what it means for your holiday, and we will guide you through the next steps as clearly as possible. We will send you your confirmed flight details with your final pre-holiday paperwork approximately two weeks before you set off.
I am thinking of booking. Is it still sensible to book?
Yes! The world is still very much open for business. With departure dates available throughout 2026, 2027 and into 2028, why not plan ahead and give yourself something to look forward to? Take a look at our latest holiday availability.
Many guests choosing to book and travel in the short term understandably want a little extra reassurance. If you are considering a holiday, we are here to answer questions, explain what support is in place and help you book with confidence. Our deposit guarantee scheme is there to offer added peace of mind, and our team will be very happy to talk you through the finer details.
How does your Deposit Guarantee Scheme work?
Our Deposit Guarantee Scheme is designed to give guests added reassurance and flexibility when booking. We know that plans can change over time for a host of reasons and we’re here to ensure you can enjoy your holiday at the right time and in the right destination. Full details, including any terms and conditions, will be explained at the time of booking, and our team will be very happy to talk you through how it applies to your chosen holiday.
Are my holiday plans financially protected?
Yes. Every One Traveller holiday is financially protected from the moment your booking is placed with us. You will either be covered by our ABTA bonding or our ATOL licence. The type of holiday you book will determine which protection you are offered but you can always book and travel with peace of mind that your money, and travel plans, are in safe hands. You can find out more here.
Should I check travel advice and insurance before I book or travel?
Yes. We always recommend checking the latest official travel advice for your destination and any transit points. You should also review your travel insurance carefully, ensuring it covers the full duration of your holiday and that you understand exactly what is covered. If you have questions about the practical side of your holiday, our team is always here to help.
Will my travel insurance still cover me if the situation changes?
Insurance cover can vary depending on your policy, destination and any transit points involved in your journey. If current events affect travel advice or routing, it is important to check your policy carefully. We can help you understand the practical travel picture, while your insurer will be able to confirm the cover that applies to you.
What if I would rather speak to someone?
We completely understand. If you prefer the human touch, our Concierge Team is on hand to answer questions, talk through your options and help you feel comfortable and informed at every stage. Call our friendly Concierge team on 01760 722 011.
