    Description

Experience the region's specialities, taste the wine, relax and indulge in this truly wonderful holiday to one of Italy?s best loved regions. This two-centre holiday has been purposely planned to minimise journey times, often allowing for free time in which to wonder and explore at your own pace. You will find plenty of opportunities here to soak up the history, culture, atmosphere and many culinary delights of renaissance Italy. Covering 8,900 square miles, Tuscany is an area of Italy as famous for its stunning countryside as its renaissance cities. The vineyards, olive groves and medieval hilltop villages are interspersed with ancient cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Siena and, of course, beautiful Florence.

We will show you all the iconic attractions nestled away in Tuscany?s majestic old towns and medieval cities, including an opportunity to visit the Leaning Tower in Pisa and to gaze upon the equally stunning red-tiled dome of Florence Cathedral. You will also see and experience some of the area?s lesser-known gems, such as the Abbazia di Sant?Antimo (a glorious, isolated Benedictine monastery) and tour an artisan chocolate maker, where samples of their expertly crafted wares will of course be on offer.
