Farewell ‘Symphony of Lights’ dinner cruise in Hong Kong Harbour with drinks included

From the moment you arrive in Shanghai this holiday has a wide range of experiences. See Shanghai’s magnificent skyline, the ornate Yu bazaar area and the former colonial concessions. An astounding acrobat show is followed by visits to the more peaceful water town of Suzhou on the Grand Canal and Hangzhou.

Hangzhou has always held a near mythical status in China, both for its beautiful lakeside location and as a place for meditative and spiritual retreat. Many of the country’s most famous painters and poets lived here, seeking tranquillity on the banks of the willow-shaded West Lake, while influential monks established temples with towering pagodas on the quiet hilltops nearby.

Four nights will be spent in relaxed fashion sailing on the Yangtze on a five-star ship through the Three Gorges before flying to Hong Kong where China and Britain have melded and created something unique. The mix of Feng Shui, finance, trams and temples make it one of the most fascinating cities in the world. During your stay you will be dazzled by the stunning harbour view from the Victoria Peak tram. Your ‘Symphony of Lights’ farewell dinner cruise is a wonderful climax to this holiday.

Throughout your holiday you will be staying in the following four and five-star hotels:

3 Shanghai: Ocean Hotel (5 star)

3 Hangzhou: Best Western (4 star)

4 Yangtze River: Victoria Cruises (5 star)

3 Hong Kong: Harbour Grand Hotel (5 star)
