    Description

The fourth-largest county in England, Norfolk is also one of the quietest, known for its big skies, wide-open spaces, historic cities and towns, miles of beach and heathland, hidden waterways, wildlife and vast wild landscapes – so much is here to be discovered. In medieval times it was the most prosperous county in England, which is why today it has the UK’s greatest concentration of medieval churches, set in villages full of traditional carstone cottages with sedge and reed thatched roofs.

Norfolk has all the ingredients that make it one of the most ideal destinations in the UK. A long coastline of clean sandy beaches and lovely seaside resorts, rural countryside of heathland, forests and nature reserves extending across a gentle landscape. Probably most famous for its Broads, which cover some 125 miles of lock-free man-made waterways that meander through the most beautiful countryside.

During your stay enjoy a cruise along the Norfolk Broads on our exclusive paddle boat and see historic Holkham Hall with a private tour followed by a stop in the picturesque town of Sheringham. Explore Norwich with a local guide, with time to visit the cathedral.
