    Description

St Petersburg is known as the 'Pearl of the Baltic' and is also the setting for several novels by Tolstoy. Many visitors just pop in briefly on combined holidays to Russia and the Baltic capitals not allowing themselves the chance to experience the breath-taking cultural wonders of Russia's second largest city, where the magnificent architecture depicts the wealth and cultural legacy left by the Romanovs.

Our seven-day itinerary dedicated solely to St Petersburg allows time to enjoy the glory of the Hermitage Museum, the stunning suburban palaces of Pavlovsk and Peterhof (including the gardens and fountains), as well as little extras such as the Faberge Museum and time to wander and shop on the famous Nevsky Prospekt (close to your centrally located hotel!).

Add to this an included Cossack show, a champagne cruise and a chance to see a stunning performance at the Mariinsky theatre. This holiday is a feast for your senses.
