The provinces of Québec and Ontario have everything: spectacular natural wonders, fabulous scenery and beautiful old towns. Québec is well-known for being Canada's French speaking province, while the city of Montréal, built on an island in the St Lawrence River, evolved as a centre for the fur trade with a proud Native American history. Beautiful Québec City, the only walled city in North America, retains the atmosphere of a quaint French village and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, complete with cobbled streets, old world bakeries and artisan shops.
The Canadian capital Ottawa has manicured green spaces and striking government buildings on Parliament Hill that stand watch over the Ottawa River and the scenic Rideau Canal. The last three nights of your holiday will be spent in Toronto, home of Canada's largest theatre district and film industry, as well as world-class art collections and museums. No trip to Toronto would be complete without a trip to the C.N. Tower, where we include dinner in the 360 revolving restaurant, as well as a day spent at nearby Niagara Falls riding the famous Maid of the Mist, and a farewell dinner overlooking the spectacular falls.
