    Description

Immerse yourself in the region renowned as the home of several great composers and enjoy an evening in the Leipzig Arena to watch and listen to the Dutch master musician and his orchestra. Staying for five nights in the heart of Leipzig, a vibrant, bustling, multicultural city that is home to majestic architecture like the St. Thomas Church, St. Nicholas Church, New Town Hall, Old City Hall and other wonderful sights. It is also a city where the music never stops. Once being the resident city of Bach and Mendelssohn, where we pay a visit to their homes and museums and enjoy a private concert.

Halfway between Berlin and Prague, Saxony is a perfect introduction to what awaits you in the eastern part of Germany. Saxony appears on numerous classical paintings, be it Canaletto's views of Dresden's captivating baroque cityscape, or Friedrich's depictions of the Elbe River cutting its passage through the mountains.

The city of Halle sits on the banks of the Saale River and is often referred to as Handel Town. The composer George Friederic Handel, was born in the city and grew up here and composed, among other pieces, his famous Water Music. In the Handel House you will learn more about the town’s eminent son on this feast of music in this lesser trodden region of Germany.
