    Description

Breathtaking views, magnificent mountains, unspoilt nature, glistening lakes and genuine hospitality – that is the magic of Switzerland! Staying in the idyllic chalet village of Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland, with a range of amenities, train rides, cable car rides, meals and drinks all included!

As well as attractive chocolate box scenery, excursions are included to the capital city of Berne, with its elaborate Gothic clock tower complete with moving puppets. There will also be a scenic drive through the Simmental Valley to the medieval town of Gruyères that gives its name to the area and its delicious cheese. The day to Zermatt involves three stunning train journeys including the Gornergrat Matterhorn Railway, to experience a unique panorama of some of the Alps’ mightiest peaks.

The most impressive 360-degree panorama in the Alps awaits you on the Schilthorn – Piz Gloria. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the UNESCO World Heritage landscape with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and more than 200 other mountain peaks from the renovated Piz Gloria revolving restaurant. Good visibility provided, you can even see as far as the Mont Blanc massif in France and Germany’s Black Forest!
