The thought of a solo holiday can be extremely daunting to anyone, but it’s also a life changing experience that you shouldn’t miss out on due to fear. We understand this and that’s why we like to take care of every tiny detail for you when you book a trip with us, so you can just kick back and relax.

First time?

There are many solo travellers over 50, whether they’re on their own, or simply have a partner who doesn’t like to travel. Travelling on your own and taking part in planned activities and excursions means you can meet new people with the same interests, or even find yourself some new hobbies to enjoy back home. You can even meet your tour manager and other single travellers beforehand to get a feel for what’s to come.

I don’t want to travel too far?

There really is something for everyone when it comes to destination. If you don’t fancy travelling too far then you have plenty of UK options, especially around Christmas and New Year. Whether it’s Norfolk or Edinburgh, you’ll never be bored with plenty of guided tours, magnificent lunches, museums and experiences.

Where would you recommend in Europe?

Since day one, Prague has been our ideal destination for first-time travellers due to all it has to offer and its stunning surrounding areas. There’s also plenty to do in Barcelona, enjoy strolling through the city, learning the history and eating authentic tapas at the oldest family run vineyard in Spain. Venice or Rome are other popular destinations due to their beautiful historic features and incredible food.

Somewhere hot?

If you’re after a sunny destination, we still have plenty of options. India and Morocco are great places to consider as they are particularly hot during the summer months. Morocco has so much history for you to discover. Get a horse and carriage ride into Marrakech, visit the Middle Atlas Mountains or even just take in the beautiful sunset over Sahara. You can take a more relaxed approach in India if you’d prefer, meditate and stretch with an hour long yoga session, take a cruise on the calm waters of Lake Pichola or enjoy a lunch amidst the surroundings of Bijay Niwas Palace.

For the experienced solo traveller?

New York is a must on anyone’s list of places they want to visit, so why not go to Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York all in one big trip? This fully packed itinerary is perfect for the well experienced solo traveller. Head to DC for the ultimate tour so you can take in all the sights before heading to the George Washington Mount Vernon Estate. Enjoy a scenic drive to Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and many other iconic American sites. Finally, you can see New York in all its glory, by night. Visit the local tourist spots (Central Park, Lady Liberty) before an evening flight over the stunning lights of the city.

Sounds great, how can I get involved?

Easy, search through our variety of destination options until you find the perfect holiday that works for you and then book online. If you’d prefer, you can request a brochure or request a call back. It really is as easy as that to create your own personal solo trip that will change your life.
