Have you always wanted to see the Pyramids of Giza? Is a tour round the Valley of the Kings on your bucket list? You can experience both things and so much more on our Cairo & Nile Cruise holiday.

We believe everybody should go to Egypt at least once in their life (if not more!). It’s absolutely seeped in history and boasts more than 300 days of blissful sunshine every year – what more could you ask for!

Here’s a few reasons why we think Egypt is a truly un-missable holiday destination:

The History & Culture

Whether you’re into history in a big way, or could take it or leave it, nobody can deny that Egypt holds some of the most breath-taking, iconic landmarks in the world. There’s the Pyramids of Giza, the Luxor temple, and the beautiful city of Cairo, all of which we will visit on our holiday, along with the Sobek Temple, the Cairo Museum and so much more!

World-Class Accommodation

The hotels and resorts in Egypt are notoriously luxurious, with multiple outdoor pools, unbeatable leisure facilities, and a choice of restaurants to wet your appetite. While on land, we’ve picked out a hotel (or shall we say palace!) for your stay that once housed an Empress and her staff. Everything you can think of will be right at your fingertips – including a mini shopping arcade with a bakery and beauty parlour.

The River Nile

The mighty River Nile is a magnificent stretch of water and is famous all over the world. Half of our trip will be spent cruising comfortably down the Nile, taking in the views from a newly refurbished five-star luxury ship.

Khan-el-Khalili Bazaar

On our trip to Cairo we’ve organised a lunch near the impressive Khan-el-Khalili bazaar. Surrounded by a charming collection of shops stocking everything from traditional clothes to spices, you are bound to find something to take home as a memoir.

Places of Worship

Spend some quiet time in the mosques and experience the serene spirituality of the many ancient temples. On the 5th and 6th day of our trip, we will be visiting two of the most famous temples in Egypt and the world, the Luxor Temple situated along the Nile, and the Temple of Horus, which is the best-preserved ancient temple structure in Egypt.

Tasty Food

Egyptian food can be described as a culmination of African, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking and is delicious! When in a foreign country the food is just as much an experience as visiting a famous tourist attraction. We’ve organised several lunches and evening meals to satisfy your appetite and introduce you to the Egyptian cuisine.

As with all One Traveller holidays, everything from your flight and accommodation to meals out and activities is completely taken care of and any information or assistance you require can be seen to by your dedicated tour manager. We organise all our holidays with great care; we only book you into high class hotels, you’re treated to your own room and our daily activities have been thoughtfully picked it to ensure you are getting the most out of your holiday.
