I had a wonderful holiday to China. It was the first time I had been on holiday on my own so was a bit apprehensive. No need as it turned out – Kate was great a very welcoming and the group great fun and we all got on famously. Well, what can I say about China? It was a great experience and I feel so lucky to have seen all those sights in such a short space of time. Terrific – well done to all at One Traveller. I shall certainly be recommending your company to friends and will be saving up to for the next trip.

I had such a wonderful holiday and wanted to thank you so much for the great organisation. Your attention to every detail was perfect. I really liked the “unique” numbering, it saves feeling awkward in finding a seat and it was fun looking for your number on the table. The city was so much more colourful than I had thought and so many beautiful palaces and churches. And without your knowledge of knowing where to visit and how much time to spend at each building I would not have seen nearly so much. All the restaurants were very good and the food was so much better than I expected. The hotel was situated in an ideal position and all the staff were so attentive and I enjoyed all the meals that we had there. Igor was absolutely wonderful, such a delightful man, so warm and caring and he gave just the right of information, thus holding my attention all the time. It was delightful to go to the Ballet and also the Cossack show. I really cannot thank you enough for a perfect holiday and I look forward to going on another trip. Very best regards.

My thanks for the way in which you have conducted the recent holiday to St. Petersburg. In every respect it was superbly organized and I am very impressed with both that and the way you run One Traveller. As appreciation a “box” will arrive in the next 3-4 days. If you want to be an Oligarch you can have all 6 bottles for yourself. However since others have been involved I suggest you start with your mum, and then in order Emma and Daniel. Just make sure you have at least one yourself because you do deserve some recognition. With my regards and thanks.

Thank you so much for the wonderful trip to China. I was a bit nervous (first timer) travelling up to the airport but the minute I got to the terminal I was put at my ease by Kate. I can’t praise Kate enough right through the holiday I felt safe and relaxed, everyone in the group was friendly and I met some lovely people, I will definitely be doing some more travelling with one traveller.

I must write and say how much I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Thailand. It is hard to pick out what I enjoyed most – it was all good and so varied. The choice of hotels were good also the venues chosen for lunch were excellent. The three nights to recover at Cha Am were a real benefit. We had a good group – Kate was excellent, above and beyond the remit. Where to next, Vietnam? Sri Lanka? Can’t wait.

I am sorry I haven’t written sooner to thank you for arranging such a lovely holiday experience in Thailand. I was so apprehensive about going – first time alone and missing my husband so much. Everyone was so friendly – the night at the Heathrow Hilton is such a good idea – realised I wasn’t alone in feeling somewhat nervous. Kate is “Wonder Woman” – she soon had us under control!! The whole holiday was a wonderful experience. The hotels were all first class and I really enjoyed the food – tried a little of everything! It was a real shock to the system to have a temp of 38°C and in 14 hours temperature of –2 and snow!!

The extra organisation and detail that you get with One Traveller is exceptional and why I would recommend the company especially to those who are travelling for the first time alone. You do advertise for the 'mature' single traveller but know there must be a lot of people like me too young for Saga (I'm 49) but too old for 18-30's who would love these holidays.
