sights and more because Krakow is ideally situated for visits to some
of Poland’s most famous attractions such as the Salt Mines; you will also have the option of a visit to the concentration camp at Auschwitz. Krakow has a very charming and welcoming old town with
its World Famous Cloth Hall dominating the main square. Here you can
buy all kinds of locally produced things including the semi precious
stone Amber which is mined in Poland. All holidays in Poland
should include a visit to Krakow. On our tour we are including a guided
tour of the City (including the Jewish Sector) and a visit to the
beautiful Wieliczka Salt Mines (which are on the UNESCO World Heritage
List). Of course you will have the opportunity to visit Auschwitz
Concentration Camp (an absorbing day out) as well as an opportunity to
enjoy the Polish countryside as we take you to the Polish Tatra
Mountain resort of Zakopane.
The evenings are centred on trying the local cuisine and experiencing the local Highlander culture.
