We are fully aware that taking that initial step and travelling as a single traveller for the first time can be a giant leap. We hear on many occasions the trepidation people have when we receive bookings. Many people on our holidays are taking that leap of faith for the first time and you will not be the only one. Many of our guests are finding a new way forward in life, have busy social lives but no one who shares the same interest in a particular destination or partners who don’t wish to holiday. NO SINGLE ROOMS and NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS. All our holidays offer a well thought out array of included activities such as welcome get-together drinks, most meals and excursions which allow friendships to form with your new One Traveller companions. Plus we add extra touches such as horse and carriage rides, boat trips, wine tastings, cable cars and some evening concerts and shows. We ensure no one is left out! The Tour Managers Role
Our Tour managers are chosen for their caring attitude, organisational skills, passion for the local culture of the places we visit and ability to create a friendly holiday atmosphere from Breakfast to fun interesting days, pre dinner social sessions in the hotel bar to a nightcap at the end of the evening. All of this done whilst paying attention to the small details in assisting you have a great holiday. Again our testimonials show that they really make an excellent holiday into a fabulous experience and are highly regarded by all our guests.
Our Office Staff
Our office staff have many years of experience having been Tour Managers themselves and still leading the holidays too. Rest assured your booking is handled by people who understand, care and have great knowledge of single travellers. They are also on hand to talk about the singles holidays and answer any questions about the amazing cities and beautiful regions we travel too. We are not a faceless call centre in a far flung land. We can answer almost any question right away, and by paying a deposit over the phone you can secure your place on a new way forward. You really will wish you had done it sooner.
Before You Travel
Prior to travelling we equip you with a wide range of information compiled from our experience and by listening to our guests needs that will be everything that you will need to prepare from what to pack to useful advice on currency. For main airport departures we will be hosting our pre-holiday get-togethers. An excellent idea to break the ice and travel to the airport stress free the day prior to the holiday, and at the main airport be there to assist with check-in. On arrival you will be met and escorted by our Tour Manager (who often travels with you) from the moment you arrive until you depart.
Just be yourself
You do not have to be an outgoing person to go on a group tour and you don’t have to be a great socialiser. The advantage of travelling with ONE TRAVELLER is that all you have to be is YOU. The experiences that you have will bring the group closer together. And the Tour Manager will always be at hand without going over the top.
